Suseenthiran’s issues directing big heroes
Filmmaker Suseenthiran is critically acclaimed for his naturalistic approach of scripts and characterisations. His movies with either newcomers or upcoming artists have always clicked well than his unlucky moments with big stars. This isn’t a flaw, but what’s the real big reason behind this. Suseenthiran opens up saying, “It’s difficult to pen stories for big heroes. As of concerned with my scripts, my protagonists are from middle class background families. They are too normal and ordinary. But when it comes to writing for A-league actors, it turns out to be a complex situation.”
Adding more about his upcoming film ‘Nenjil Thunivirundhal’, the director says that there is not much of importance for heroine in this film. “Mehreen will have her characterisation adding values to the film, but has nothing to do with the progression of story. In fact, the reason behind roping in a heroine is that people shouldn’t assume it’s an art film,” sums up Suseenthiran.
