Arya’s Ghajinikanth release date gets officially announced
Few months back in time, actors Arya and Jayam Ravi were officially signed to play the lead roles in Sundar C’s fictional period drama titled ‘Sangamithra’. The film is directed by Sundar C with AR Rahman composing music. Due to the prolonged pre-production works, the shooting was postponed. During this interim, the lead actors and Sundar C got themselves occupied with other projects. Jayam Ravi has signed ‘Adanga Maru’ and Sundar C started working on Kalakalappu 2. Meanwhile, it was curious enough to see what’s going to be with Arya.
Finally, he got signed up for Studio Green Films’ ‘Ghajinikanth’, directed by Santhosh of Hara Hara Mahadevaki. This happens to be the third time collaboration of Santhosh and K.E. Gnanavel Raja after Hara Hara Mahadevaki and upcoming film ‘Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu’. During the single track launch of this film that was recently held in Chennai, it was revealed that Arya, Sayyeshaa Saigal starrer Ghajinikanth directed by Santhosh P Jayakumar, will be released on March 30. It seems that the pre-production process took only 15 days and entire shoot would be completed in a span of 40 days. This indicates that the principal photography will be wrapped by end of this month. The film happens to be a remake of super hit Telugu film ‘Bale Bale Magadivoy’ that starred Nani in lead role.
