STR issue at Kee audio launch stirs up sensation
These days, any film events with big names eventually turn out to be a platform to create issues based on high sensitivities. There have been certain claims from the celebrities, not to discuss unwanted topics at other film based events. But then, nothing seems to be putting an end to such turmoil. It all happened at the audio launch of Jiiva-Nikki Galrani starrer Kee at Kamala Cinemas in Chennai. Producer PL Thenappan burst out rendering his speech alleging Tamil Film Producer Council for not taking any action against STR over ‘AAA’ issue.
Actor Vishal, who happens to be the General Secretary of Nadigar Sangam and President of Tamil Film Producers Council opined his views. He said, “Based on the allegations of producer S. Michael Rayappan, TFPC has taken its essential steps, but there hasn’t been any statements or reactions from the side of STR. So we need to wait patiently and see what could be done on the next level. Moreover, this is not a stage to discuss producer-actor issues.”
Actor Vijay Sethupathi, who was present there as the special invitee also mentioned the same that such issues shouldn’t discussed here at film events.
