Akshay Kumar to remake Kanchana 2
Akshay Kumar was definitely one among those who was one among those Bollywood superstars smug-bitten by South Indian remakes. His Rowdy Rathore was a clear illustration followed by few more remakes, which proved to be black horses in box office. Now after a long hiatus, the actor has chosen Kanchana 2 for his next remake. It looks like the actor was so much obsessed with Tamil movies while working with Shankar and Rajinikanth in 2.O. The actor will start working on this project by middle of this year and it could be a 2019 release as far as planned for the moment.
Kanchana 2 happens to be the third instalment of Raghava Lawrence’s Muni franchise, which grossed with nearly 100Cr in box office. The film featured Taapsee and Nithya Menen alongside him in lead roles.
Meanwhile, Raghava Lawrence is all set for the fourth instalment of Muni, which is proceeding faster towards completion.
