Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Ondraga to revive ‘VTV’ Karthik
The name ‘Karthik’ is more than enough for the audiences to connect with the evergreen romantic entertainer ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’. The exotically urban natured guy and an aspiring filmmaker, who goes through the uttermost turbulences in life after coming across Jessie was the film all about. It’s been nearly 8 years and everyone is still brooding over the movie and sometimes, even a desire of sequel pops up in us. It looks like Gautham Vasudev Menon too hasn’t gotten off with breeze of VTV and is all reportedly set to bring us something special. If what we hear from the close sources is believed to be true, Gautham Vasudev Menon’s multi-starrer movie Ondraga will have STR’s character of ‘Karthik’ from Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya revived.
The film is about four friends, who embark on a road trip and how it changes their lives forever. It was earlier mentioned that four leading South Indian actors like Prithviraj, Sai Dharam Tej and Puneeth Rajkumar would be teaming up for this film. It was even buzzed that Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah would be a part of this film. But the actor from Tamil film industry was kept on hold. Now the project even before taking off gets a booster with STR reprising the role of ‘Karthik’ from his magnum opus movie. It would be a premise of 8 years from the film’s climax, where he joins his friends for a road trip.
