Karthi 17 shooting commences from March 8
Actor Karthi is one the non-stop mode of shooting for his films now. He had to strain himself physically and mentally for his last year release ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ during the shoot. Aftermath, he started working on Pandiraj directorial Kadaikutty Singam produced by Suriya under 2D Entertainment. With this shooting near completion, the ‘Theeran’ actor is all set to kick-start Karthi 17 from March 8. Rajath Ravishankar, a former associate of Anurag Kashyap, Saravanan and Kannan is helming this project. S Lakshman Kumar of Prince Pictures (Singam 2 and Mohini fame) is producing this film.
Karthi 17 shoot will be starting from March 8 in Chennai. Soon after this, the entire team will be heading to European countries followed by other schedules to be shot in Himalayas, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
The film is produced at a whopping budget and will be the first of its kind action adventure in Tamil cinema as affirmed by producers. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead role in this movie, which features Prakash Raj, Karthik and Ramya Krishnan in important roles. Velraj is cranking camera for this movie, which has musical score by Harris Jayaraj.
Prince Pictures who is producing Karthi 17 have confirmed the worldwide theatrical release for Aayutha Pooja holidays.
