Arvind Swamy Vanangamudi wraps in 20 days
Arvind Swamy is on the fastest run of working on many projects now. Following a commendable performance in movies like Thani Oruvan and Bogan, he is now turning into an upright and honest cop now. This is all about his upcoming film Vanangamudi, which features him as tough police officer on the hunt of baddies. Touted to be a racy thriller, the film marks the comeback of Arvind Swamy-Selva duo 20 years after Pudhaiyal. Vanangamudi also features Ritika Singh, Chandini, Nandita Swetha and Simran in important roles. D Imman is composing music for this film, which has Gokul handling cinematography. M.R. Ganesh has produced this film under the banner Magic Box Films, which is tentatively scheduled for December release.
As of now, 75% of shooting has been completed with previous schedule wrapped up in Tuticorin. The next one starting by second week of November involves some action sequences and an intimate montage song shot between lead pair in Kodaikanal. Soon after this, the team will have 5 days of shooting in Chennai by first week of December that completes the entire movie. The first look is expected to be launched by second week of November. So altogether toting up the upcoming schedules, it has just 20 more days to wrap up the movie shooting.
