Billa II is an upcoming Indian Tamil gangster-thriller film directed by Chakri Toleti. It is a prequel to the 2007 film Billa and would focus on how David, an ordinary man from the coastal regions of South Tamil Nadu, becomes Billa, a dreaded underworld don, with Ajith Kumar reprising the role of the titular character. It also features Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah, Vidyut Jamwal, and Sudhanshu Pandey in supporting roles, all of whom make their debut in Tamil cinema.
Billa II music has already hit the stores and created a viral among all ajith fans. It is to be noted that the movie rights have been sold at a whooping price among the ajith movies before the release. Latest buzz is that the movie is tentatively to release Jun 8th which is finalized as of now. But Sources close to the production says the movie is so far finalized to be released on June 15th and if postponed it will move on to June 22nd. The date will be finalized in upcoming weeks and theatrical trailer will hit cinemas very soon. Thala fans are already made a huge promotion for the audio release and they are gearing up for the movie release as well and they are getting ready for bigger treat in upcoming weeks.
