David Taking off in Style. David an upcoming film which has Vikram and Jiiva playing the leads as David, two Davids. One a Fisherman and one a Musician, each faced with a conflict and how they overcome it forms the rest of the story. Nasser, Tabu, Rohini Hattangadi, Lara Dutta, Isha Sharvani, K.P.Nishan, John Vijay, Saurabh Shukla are the other artists shares the screen space with the leads.
The film is being directed by Bejoy Nambiar, whose earlier directorial venture was the much acclaimed Hindi film Shaitan. DAVID is being produced by Getaway Films and Reliance Entertainment. The film has been shot with two different DOPs in two different cities. Rathnavelu( Randy) has shot the Fisherman story and Sejal ShahH is shooting the Musician’s story. The film is being edited by Sreekar Prasad and Rajeevan is the Production Designer. The Music is an eclectic mix of diverse sounds featuring original music by Anirudh, Prashant Pillai, Remo, Modern Mafia & others. The story is told in a unique double narrative style laced with a lot of MUSIC, DRAMA, ACTION AND HUMOUR!!!!
