Dhanush gets injured during Maari 2 climax shoot
It’s quite evident that Dhanush has been incessantly working on many projects that are scheduled at different stages of production. Especially, this month has been deliberately a hectic one that he had to promote his international film The Extraordinary Journey of Fakir followed by release of Kaala. Today, the actor was busy shooting for the climax portion of his upcoming film Maari 2, which involved some breathtaking action sequence between Dhanush and Tovino Thomas. In an unexpected turn, Dhanush severely injured his right knee and left hand. Although, he had intense pain, Danush continued to shoot the fight sequence.
Maari 2 marks the second time collaboration of Danush and Director Balaji Mohan, who earlier together delivered blockbuster hit Maari. Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead role in this film. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Kreshna, Robo Shankar and few more prominent actors are a part of this cast. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing for this film and is one of the reasons behind great anticipations being raised.
