Music composer G V Prakash recently missed his tryst with Cannes, where his Anurag Kashyap-directed Gangs of Wasseypur was being screened, because of a little miscommunication. While the music director told his travel agent to get him a Schengan visa, he was given — after patiently waiting for a few days — a visa for Shanghai!
G V Prakash says, “I was so looking forward to going to the Cannes, but missed out on it because of a miscommunication. But, I can take comfort from the fact that my music was played out at the prestigious festival and that it got a lot of appreciation.”
Other than the music he’s scored for this flick, GV is also awaiting the musical release of Joker in Bollywood.
