Gautham Vasudev Menon openly admits the biggest flop
Filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon has opened up that his wrong judgments as a producer. He has openly admitted that he took some of the films believing that it would be a good hit, which in contrast became box office disasters. “I produced Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum at 7Cr and it didn’t even collect even One Crore,” says GVM.
Many started inquiring the filmmaker about his production venture ‘Ondraaga Entertainment’, where many movies were shelved including ‘Pon Ondru Kanden’. He replies, “On the first note, Pon Ondru Kanden never took off. By bringing in top actors and technicians, the budget crossed the limit. Henceforth, we decided to keep it stalled for a while. We will soon starting the film with fresh faces.”
Gautham Vasudev Menon was recently on headlines for his tiff with Karthick Naren in Naragasooran. It is also worth mentioning that his banner name Ondraaga has been excluded from the posters.
Currently, the filmmaker is busy shooting for the final schedule of Enai Noki Paayum Thota. Dhanush and Megha Akash are playing lead roles in this film, which has cameo appearance by Sasikumar.
