Jiiva and Shalini Pandey to romance in Heist Comedy
Actor Jiiva has been relentlessly striking up with more projects. This includes Kee, Kalakalappu and Nenjumundu Nermaiyundu, which are scheduled at different stages of production. During this juncture, the actor has now signed up a new film, which is based on comedy heist genre. Shalini Pandey who shot to fame for her maverick performance in ‘Arjun Reddy’ is playing the female lead role opposite Jiiva. The actress is already been shooting for her debut film in Tamil titled 100% Kadhal starring GV Prakash in lead role. The film’s original version featured Naga Chaitanya and Tamannaah in lead roles.
This untitled comedy heist thriller is produced by Vijaya Raghavendra, which has musical score by Vikram Vedha fame Sam CS. Ruben is signed up for editing, which is directed by Don Sandy of ‘Mahabalipuram’ fame.
Shedding lights upon the film, producer Vijaya Raghavendra claims that the hero’s characterization in this film was to be laced with humour and action. Apparently, they felt that Jiiva will do justice to this role and signed him up for this project. RJ Balaji and Yogi Babu will be playing important roles in this film, which kick-starts the shoot by February 2018.
