Kaala not to be released in Karnataka due to Rajini’s speech
Superstar Rajini starrer Kaala is gaining momentum as it is all set to release worldwide on June 7. With just 9 days ahead for release, the recent news is that the film will not release in Karnataka.
Looking into this in detail for the reason, Sa Ra Govindu, president of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce stated that Kannadigas are against Rajinikanth for his political statement over the recent Cauvery issues and further development extends to the meeting with the distributors to not get associated with the makers of Kaala to release in K’taka.
Similar issues broke out for Baahubali 2 when actor Sathyaraj spoke against the native scenerio in K’taka and it was sorted out for Baahubali’s smooth release since the director Raajamouli apologised on his behalf.
