Kadaikutty Singam and Tamizh Padam 2 gears up for digital clash
Seasons are changing with the Tamil film industry. In fact, the viewership of Digital platforms is gradually increasing as most of the Tamil films are instantly getting released. Thanks to digital platforms like Sun Nxt and Amazon Prime. The official news is that Karthi starrer Kadaikutty Singam and Shiva’s Tamizh Padam 2 will have digital release on the latter platform next week. While Kadaikutty Singam will be streamed from August 13, Tamizh Padam 2 will have its realms from August 17. It is noteworthy that Sun Nxt had recently streamed Jayam Ravi-Nivetha Pethuraj starrer Tik Tik Tik. Amazon Prime had even released Rajinikanth starrer ‘Kaala’ on July 27.
Significantly, this has been slightly changing the movie watching option of audiences to greater extent. Furthermore, the entertainment of unveiling new releases isn’t confined to just Tamil releases, but with super hit other regional movies and Hollywood as well.
Alia Bhatt’s Raazi, Amitabh Bachchan starrer 102 Not Out, etc were unveiled in Amazon Prime. Apparently, Netflix has started targeting Malayalam movies with latest releases like Sudani from Nigeria and few more flicks having their digital streaming.
