Karuppan and Puriyatha Puthir release in one week gap

This isn’t something new or a sort of surprisal from Vijay Sethupathi. It all happened before couple of years with Rummy and Pannaiyarum Padminiyum released in span of one week gap. Now it is all repeating again with Vijay Sethupathi’s forthcoming releases. Yesterday, it was officially confirmed by J Satish Kumar that Puriyatha Puthir will be hitting screens on September 1.

Now it comes all affirmed that his other film Karuppan will hit screens on September 8. Touted to be a rural entertainer, the film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Tanya Ravichandran in lead roles… The film is directed by Renigunta fame Panneer Selvam and is bankrolled by AM Rathnam.

It is noteworthy that Vijay Sethupathi had couple of releases so far in 2017 (Kavan and Vikram Vedha), which have gained top-notch results in trade.

It looks like there would be three more line ups from the actor’s store before this yearend. He is currently shooting for 96 and Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren following which Seenu Ramasamy’s Seethakadhi will start rolling by next month.
