‘Kiazhakku Africavil Raju’ brings MGR, J Jayalalithaa in animation
The inaugural pooja for the launch of the film was performed recently on the 101st birthday of Puratchi Thalaivar MGR at Chennai Sathya Studios. On the occasion of Late Former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, it was announced that she would be seen in the female lead role opposite MGR. Pre-production activities were being completed. There was a lot of discussion regarding the selection of heroine. The one actress who acted as heroine with MGR in the maximum number of films, the former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, is not amongst us. Still, they wanted to include her in the cast. This will be the 28th film for the MGR – Jayalalithaa pair.
The film would also include Nambiar, Nagesh, Isari Velan, and Thengai Srinivasan.
When he was 7 years old, Isari Ganesh had seen MGR’s Ulagam Sutrum Valiban 21 times. He knows the story of the planned sequel as well. The movie would certainly be liked by all age groups including children and youth.
The story was discussed with S. P. Muthuraman, K S. Ravikumar, Bhagyaraj, and Pandiarajan. The preproduction activities are complete. We have watched his sword-fight in many films. In Kiazhakku Africavil Raju, we show him handling the latest weapons/arms.
The story will revolve around East Africa in countries like Kenya, Somalia, and Sudan. The film is not being produced with profit motives. In case any profit is earned, it will be donated to the building fund of the cine artistes association. Isari K. Ganesh, the producer, informed that the permission is being obtained from the families of the dead artists in the film.
