Nikila Vimal joins Karthi – Jyothika film directed by Jeethu Joseph
We have mentioned a lot upon how the entire family involving Suriya, Karthi and Jyotika are laden with continuous projects. While Suriya’s lineup of NGK, Kaappaan, Soorarai Pottru, and Siva project has kept the fans exhilarated, his younger brother Karthi is no exception as his stores are whelming with more films.
Following the release of ‘Dev’, his upcoming film ‘Kaidhi’ is almost nearing the completion of post-production phase. He has already completed the first schedule of Bhagyaraj Kannan’s untitled movie and is now filming for Jeethu Joseph’s untitled movie. Touted to be a thriller drama, the film also features Jyothika in another lead role with Sathyaraj in an important character. According to the close sources, we hear that Malayalam actress Nikhila Vimal has been signed to play Karthi’s pair in this movie.
It is noteworthy that Nikhila Vimal’s recent Malayalam movie ‘Njan Prakashan’ with Fahadh Faasil in lead role was highly acclaimed. She made her debut in Tamil cinema through Sasikumar’s Kidaari following which she appeared in Vetrivel. Currently, she is awaiting the release of ‘Ranga’, which has Sibiraj in the lead role.
