Karthik Subbaraj proves to be an ardent fan of not just glorifying Rajinikanth, but overshadowing the mediocre spell of those filmmakers, who tried to eclipse the ‘Thalaivar’ charisma and gain attention. The complete duration of 2min 30 seconds of Petta Trailer has Rajnikanth sending thrills down the spine with lots of Goosebumps moments. Yes, everyone knows that ‘Rajinikanth’ is a genre itself and Karthik has ritually and efficiently made it perfect.
There are few things that we need to mention about the film. The high level energy of Rajinikanth, which is not merely due to his efforts, but the way, the story is scripted recreating his nuances. On the other hand, the technical department pulls off the best ingredients together. The first frame of bird angle view and the sound mixing by Kunal Rajan are the best instances.
When it comes to ‘Mass’ elements, the punch dialogues are just tremendous, especially the final one, where Rajinikanth gives a blast.
Anirudh’s musical score gives a clean impact over raising the bars of expectation. Can’t wait to hear his massy-classy BGM for Thalaivar, especially the one we heard in Motion Poster.
