Rajinikanth utters Petta punch dialogue at Chennai airport
Superstar Rajinikanth is always known for his hilarious tint when it comes to speaking in public. Be it media or public interaction, he makes sure of having such an essence in it. While reaching Chennai airport, he happened to have a short chat with the news channels. When he was asked to opine about the #MeToo issue, Rajinikanth replied, “The safety of women has to be definitely taken in high regards, but it shouldn’t be misused.” Immediately, one of the journalists reverted, what’s his take on lyricist Vairamuthu being alleged of such harassment. “Yes, in return, Vairamuthu has commented that he is ready to face the case legally and has some strong evidence, where he will be proved innocent. So let us wait and watch,” said Rajinikanth.
While such conversations involving politics and contemporary issues were being questioned, Rajinikanth was asked whether Petta will be more on lines like Kaala and Kabali, where it advocated a particular group. He said, “Not at all! Petta will be a full length commercial entertainer.”
Finally, as the questions continued, someone asked the punch dialogue of ‘Petta’, Rajinikanth laughed out saying “Petta Paraak” and walked away.
Petta is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and is produced by Sun Pictures, which is tentatively scheduled for Pongal 2019.
