It’s Samantha, not Nayantara in U Turn remake
Over the past few days, there were some relentless buzzes hitting headlines. This was all about Nayantara playing the lead role in bilingual remake of Kannada movie U Turn. The original version featured Shraddha Srinath, directed by Pawan Kumar of Lucia fame. It was additionally mentioned that ‘Saithan’ and ‘Sathya’ fame Pradeep Krishnamoorthy will be wielding megaphone for this movie. But sooner, it was denied as baseless rumours and the news has been clarified by Pawan Kumar himself. The maker of original version in Kannada has affirmed that he will be directing the Tamil and Telugu remake with Samantha in lead role. It is worth mentioning that Samantha was so much fascinated over the Kannada version. In fact, she even promoted the film in Tamil while Naga Chaitanya gave his appreciations in video message for promotions in Andhra. Newcomer Pawan will be producing this film and details about others in the cast and crew will be revealed soon.
