It is the second time that Taapsee has got lucky and is playing opposite biggies, replacing yet another actress. If sources from tinsel town are to be believed, Karthika, who was touted to play opposite Vishal in the Sundar C directed Madha Gaja Raja (MGR), has opted out and Taapsee has been brought on board instead. The sources say that Karthika decided to opt out of the film after listening to the revised script where Vishal plays a single role, instead of the triple characters planned originally by the director.
And apparently, when she came to know that Vishal will be romancing two heroines, the KO star became all the more perturbed. Meanwhile, a little birdie tells that Taapsee has been approached to play one of the heroines.
For the second heroine, the makers are looking out for a relatively fresh face, the source adds. It may be recalled that Taapsee bagged Ajith’s film directed by Vishnuvardhan in the last moment, replacing Richa who was touted to play the lead.
