Utv Motion Pictures upcoming movie Thaandavam written and directed by Vijay of ‘Madrasapattinam’ with ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram, Anushka Shetty, Amy Jackson in the lead with Jagapathi Babu, Lakshmi Rai, Nasser, Santhanam supporting the movie has reached the final stage of shoot. The film shooting started off from Delhi and chennai for four weeks. Then the crew takes off to London for an extensively long shoot for a tamil film  around 60 days of non-stop. Thaandavam Press Meet in London held today with the Asian Press regarding their progress and their shooting in London.

The film crew started its shooting in and around London in the first week of April, and shot some breathtaking scenes in various locations in UK . It was shot in most popular locations of London and the surrounding areas capturing the natural beauty and heritage of this magnificent country. The cast and crew received excellent support from the local authorities of London, which has helped completing the film as planned.The team will be leaving for India on 15th June.

The press meet with the Asian press peoples held today in London. When asked G. Dhananjayan, Chief – South Business, Studios, Disney UTV about how the movie progressed in London, he said, “We are very excited the way the film has turned out so far. We braved the London weather and uninterrupted rain to complete the shoot on time and now we are all set to finish the remaining scenes in India with the entire cast”.

The post production of the film will begin once the unit returns to India and the music launch is scheduled for July End or August first week. The film is slated to hit theaters worldwide in September.

The film’s Cinematography is by Nirav Shah, Music by G.V. Prakash Kumar (A.R. Rahman’s nephew), Lyrics by Na. Muthukumar, Art Direction by Nagu and Editing by Anthony. The film is 25th musical from G.V. Prakash Kumar, who is one of the top music composers of South India today and for Thaandavam he has recorded five (5) memorable melody numbers.
