TN Theatre Ticket tax rates reduced by 2%
In a span of nearly 2 weeks, the office bearers of Tamil Film Producer Council along with theatre owners and distributors have working towards better solution. This was all about the double taxation issues prevailing in the industry for past few days. In regard to this crisis, the entire film fraternity, especially TFPC members had been meeting cabinet ministers of TN State Government.
The cabinet ministers, Municipality Administration officers along with TFPC have finally come up with a solution. The ticket tax has been reduced from 10% to 8% and this brings the entire issue to an end. Moreover, Vishal while interacting with the media channels after meeting with CM Edappadi Palanisamy has mentioned few things.
There are certain rules to be followed by C-Form issued by Government, who fixes the rate slabs of food items sold at counter, parking fee. This differs in metropolitan cities and outside limits as well.
