Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Ippadai Vellum censored UA
Udhayanidhi Stalin experimented with different genre of movies through Gethu and Manithan. After these series of movies, he once again tried his luck with comedy films like Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen. His recent release Pothuvaga En Manasu Thangam had indeed got a good response from rural and sub-urban audiences. Now his upcoming film titled Ippadai Vellum has been censored with U/A.
Ippadai Vellum features Udhayanidhi Stalin and Manjima Mohan in lead roles. Gaurav Narayanan has directed the film. He made his debut directorial with the film Thoonga Nagaram in Madurai backdrops. His second directorial titled Sigaram Thodu featured ATM burglary as main concept. Now this film revolves around 3 parallel stories getting conjoined at a point of time.
Udhayanidhi Stalin plays an IT Professional and his new makeover has gained good reception. This is third film for Manjima Mohan in Tamil film industry after Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada and Sathriyan. RK Suresh is playing the negative role in this film. D Imman has composed music for this film. He collaborates with Udhayanidhi Stalin after movies like Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen and Pothuvaga En Manasu Thangam.
Soori will be taking care of comedy portions. Although CBFC members didn’t go for any deletions, they have passed UA certificate. Ippadai Vellum is tentatively scheduled for November release.
