Vijay Sethupathi Junga celebration for Diwali
As they say, whether Friday comes or not Vijay Sethupathi’s film would come every week. Among his three releases of 2017, Puriyaatha Puthir is going through passable phase in box office. But the other films, Kavan and Vikram Vedha have managed to make a big time in trade. Presently, the actor has completed the shooting of ‘96’. Prem Kumar has directed this film. Trisha Krishnan has played the female lead opposite Vijay Sethupathi. It is a coming of age film, where the couple will be seen in different looks based on their ages.
Vijay Sethupathi is now teaming up with Gokul for second time after Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara. The film has been titled as Junga. Although, few portions are expected to be shot in Chennai, Tuticorin, Ramanathapuram the major filming would happen in Paris.
It seems that after narrating the entire story, Vijay Sethupathi took a pause and surprised Gokul saying that he will produce the film. Since it involves huge production cost around 20Cr, Vijay Sethupathi agreed to fund the project.
Sayyeshaa Saigal of Vanamagan fame is playing the female lead. Yogi Babu had shared the screen space with Vijay Sethupathi in Aandavan Kattalai. They are coming together again in this film.
At this point, Gokul assured that the movie will be liked by all sectors of audiences for its mix of mass, fun, love and action elements. The first look of Junga will be released on festive day of Diwali.
