Petta shooting to wrap up by October end
Everyone is aware and eager with huge expectation about the Superstar Rajini- Karthik Subburaj combo film ‘Petta’ with a glittering star cast being added every week.
The dazzling star cast includes – Simran, Trisha, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vijay Sethupathi, director Sasikumar, Manikandan Achari, Bobby Simha, Megha Akash, Samantha Reddy, and Guru Somasundaram.
Anirudh is the music composer with the film backdrop being in Ooty. So far, the film has been shot in Dehra Dun, Darjeeling, Lucknow, and Chennai. Presently, the film is being shot in Varanasi, which is reported to be flashback scenes involving Rajinikanth, Trisha, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vijay Sethupathi.
The first look poster had a tremendous response and the motion poster was released recently. They have been so hugely successful that they have raised the sky-high expectations of the fans even higher. In this situation, the second look poster has now been released. Whereas Rajini is seen sporting a thick beard in the first look poster, now in this second look poster Rajini is sporting a cycle bar moustache! It is gathered that Rajini is donning a Madurai gangster role.
According to the current reports, shooting of Petta is expected to be wrapped up by end of this month followed by theatrical release for the festive occasion of Pongal.
