AR Rahman fulfills Sivakarthikeyan’s dream with intro song

 

The Mozart of Madras, A. R. Rahman has acceded to the ardent request from the popular actor Sivakarthikeyan and obliged by singing a song.

The film Seema Raja, with Sivakarthikeyan and Samantha in the lead roles with Keerthi Suresh had performed in a guest role was released last week. Directed by Ponram with the music by D, Imman, R. D. Raja produced the film on behalf of the 24 AM Studios, which is bounded to mixed reviews.

But on his part, Sivakarthikeyan has kept himself completely occupied with couple of biggies lined up back to back tentatively titled SK 13 and SK 14. M. Rajesh is directing SK 13 that is produced by Studio Green K.E. Gnanavel Raja. Significantly, Nayanthara is sharing the screen space with Sivakarthikeyan for second time after ‘Velaikkaran’.

As known earlier, SK 14 directed by Ravikumar of ‘Netru Indru Naalai’ fame belongs to the genre of Science Fiction with Rakul Preet Singh acts as the heroine. R. D. Raja 24 AM studios is producing this film after is previous associations with Sivakarthikeyan in Remo, Velaikkaran and Seema Raja.

The music is composed by A. R. Rahman. It may be noted that so far, only Anirudh and D Imman have been composing music for Sivakarthikeyan’s films. So, A. R. Rahman is composing music for the first time in a Sivakarthikeyan movie.

Recently, A. R. Rahman had played the opening song music to Sivakarthikeyan and the latter was delighted to listen. Heavily impressed, Sivakarthikeyan ardently suggested that the song must be sung by Rahman himself. Of course, Mozart of Madras agreed and obliged!
