Priya Bhavani Shankar’s request to 8 Thottakkal director
Filmmaker Sri Ganesh shot to fame for his critically acclaimed ‘8 Thottakkal’, which won him decent reception. He gears up for his second outing titled Kuruthi Aattam featuring Atharvaa Murali and Priya Bhavani Shankar in lead roles. While speaking about how Priya go onboard for this film, Sri Ganesh says, “Generally, the actresses in a growing career will never hesitate to accept offers to act with the popular heroes even without thinking about it! However, Priya Bhavani Sankar is different in this respect. In fact, while narrating the story, she liked the character immensely but still, she did not hesitate to express her suggestion that some more scope should be given to the character. I liked the intensity with which she absorbed the story and the character. I agreed to her suggestions and developed the character with more scope immediately! She was immensely happy! She agreed to act.”
Priya Bhavani Sankar will be seen as a teacher in this film, which belongs to the genre of gangster set against Madurai backdrop. Other prominent actors include Radha Ravi and Radhika Sarathkumar. The shooting of the film is scheduled to start next week.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for Kuruthi Aattam, which is produced by Muruganantham of Rockford Entertainment in association with Big Print Pictures I. P. Karthikeyan.
