Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Saranya Ponvanan starring Kolamaavu Kokila to release on August 17. This film was initially announced to release alongside Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2 on August 10, but gets postponed now. Heroine centric films gets warm welcome in tamil cinema after witnessing good films like Aramm, Aruvi, Magalir Mattum recently.
With kollywood getting tight with huge number of releases every weekend, it’s tough to allocate the dates for films for smoother release. Though TFPC has involved in regulating release dates, many backout before release stating various issues.
CoCo directed by Nelson’s first project Vettai Mannan dropped with Simbu due to unknown reasons making this as his debut. This project is rumored to be an influential from Bangladeshi short film ” Koli 2.0 ” .
Yogi Babu – Nayan combinational ” Kalayaana Vayasu” video song has created huge buzz even before the trailer did. Produced by Lyca productions, this film is set for a solo release as of now for August 17.
Venkat Prabhu’s Party, Vijay Sethupathi- Trisha starring 96 & Nayan’s Immika Nodigal are in lines for release in August.
Also Anirudh’s music have been a great support for this project. Right from the Kaayam Varudhe song till the recent Kabiskaba have taken us through different sound tones for this thriller genre.
