Rajinikanth was first choice before Vikram in Dhruva Natchathiram
Gautham Vasudev Menon always strives to give a new dimension to the existing superstars in Tinsel Town. Of course, it has been illustrious with actors, he has worked with. Surprisingly, Superstar Rajinikanth is no exception and guess what? He was Gautham Vasudev Menon’s initial choice to play lead role in Dhruva Natchathiram. In one of the recent interviews, he has said that Rajinikanth was so much curious to be a part of this film. As a matter of fact, he was so much excited to know who would be his co-stars. In addition, Kalaipuli S Thanu was supposed to produce this film. Sooner, Chiyaan Vikram came into the picture and gave a nod to this script. It is well known that Suriya was the first one to get onboard for this spy thriller. Nonetheless, he walked out of the project due to creative difference of opinions.
Gautham Vasudev Menon doesn’t hesitate to mention that the project didn’t happen as many advised Thalaivar not to work with him. Consequently, the Kaala actor proceeded with Pa Ranjith for Kabali.
Currently, Dhruva Natchathiram shooting, which is made at big budget is almost complete. Sources mention that there is just couple of week schedule left for wrapping up entire movie. Aishwarya Rajesh, Ritu Varma, Simran, Divya Darshini, Parthiepan, Vamsi Krishna, Vinayagan and few more actors are a part of this star-cast.
Harris Jayaraj’s background score in all the three teasers have been unbelievably great. What is more? Manoj Paramahamsa has offered top-notch visuals on par with International standard.
