Suriya 38 gets titled as ‘Soorarai Pottru’

Actor Suriya has been consistently keeping his fans in complete celebration. While the year had its toast with the NGK teaser, the single track ‘Thandalkaaran’ that was released recently is faring well on all audio charts and music platforms. In addition, the buzzing news about Kaappaan teaser for April 14 has left everyone in complete awestricken feel. While so many reasons are there to jubilate, here is one more as icing of cake. Yes, the official announcement of Suriya 38 title is out and it’s ‘Soorarai Pottru‘. The first look features Suriya in shirt and dhoti (long shot) taking a look on a gigantic flight. Already, there have been some reports claiming that it is a film based on the life of Air Deccan owner. However, the makers haven’t revealed anything on this.

GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for this film and Niketh Bommi Reddy is cranking camera with Satish Suriya on editing. National award winner Poornima Ramasamy is designing costumes.

The shooting of this film is already going on full swing and it started rolling in Chennai and is expected to be shot in other parts of the country as well. Aparna Balamurali who shot to fame for her Malayalam movie ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram’ and ‘Sarvam Thaala Mayam’ is playing the female lead opposite Suriya.
